I recently participated in a glitter ATC swap... "glitter" was the only directive. Here are some of my creations:
I thought this was fun; it was definitely a challenge to use glitter paper. I suppose I could use actual glitter or glitter glue, but I got hooked on using glitter paper. Glitter paper, is, by the way, VERY hard to glue onto. But, I was very happy with my creations and I hope that whoever they end up with likes them!

Documented Life Week 27
Today I wanted to show you my Week 27 WIP for Documented Life Project! Here is the weekly page:
And the challenge for this week was to add a puzzle to your page...
That is a "hard" puzzle...and I am good at them and I think it is actually quite hard. I think the page looks unfinished so I will probably add more to it after my trip.

The Last of June's ICADs
Happy 4th of July! Today I am finishing up showing June's ICADs...
On the 29th I spent several hours at the pool with Hillary:
Then we made dinner and watched some Harry Pottery (Hillary's favorite movies!)
On the 30th I had to go to class again... but I doodled a lot and realized I had a card in my bag so I did these lines in class:
and here is a picture of all of my June cards:

Documented Life Week 24
Hello friends!! Today I am sharing Week 24 from my Documented Life Planner.
The week's page:
I got to spend time teaching adolescents how to art journal and I spent two days doing art therapy during one of our weekend workshops.
Here is the weekly challenge page - the challenge was to use text on the page:
It's hard to tell since I used dark paint and collaged over a lot of it, but I used dictionary pages to make the background so there is a lot of text there!!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful day!

That little circular see-through piece on the top right is from a rice package! I thought it would look cool on my card.

On June 12th I went to teach some 12-18 year olds how to art journal:
It was kind of wild but I had a lot of fun!

Postcards
This past Tuesday I passed my art therapy comprehensive exam! I celebrated by spending several hours doing art! I made these postcards:
It was nice to not have to do homework. I do still have a lot of work to do on my thesis but I chose to take a day off since I passed my comp exam! Later that evening I went out to dinner with the art therapy girls - it was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the semester.

A Few More Postcards
A while ago (a year...two???) I got this book:
Its an old Kotex booklet from 1962 that tells young ladies about growing up. I got it because I thought it would be good for art journaling. I finally used it! I used it to make a few postcards! Here they are:
That last picture was just a line drawings like the others above but I colored it in with Pitt Pens. They are quite different from what I normally do but I like them. Well friends I hope you have a wonderful week! "See" you on Monday!

Final Art Piece for Practicum
This semester my last semester of practicum - the class where we have supervision for our internships. Part of our final class is to present art pieces based on our work with a particular client. This is the pieces from my first practicum class when I was interning at a rehabilitation hospital:
And my second one when I was interning at a women's prison:
And, finally, here is the piece for my final practicum class:
Its hard to read those tiny letters but they say "small unnoticable (yes I forgot an N) changes can be mighty" and "keep truckin. Stay positive."
And my second one when I was interning at a women's prison:
The purple side represents how I thought the semester would be and below is how I felt the semester actually went (it was MUCH better than anticipated).
