Giggle & Goat.

I finally made a page in my friend Hillary's art journal.  We are just swapping because we are friends and we like journaling and wanted to do it.  So, anyway, I finally made a page.

I used that chicken because she cut it out of a magazine during an art making event at school but didn't use it and I jokingly said "I'm going to put that in your journal!" The words also came from that same night because she was sorting through my stash of phrases and said laughed holding up "giggle. gloat." and said "I thought it said "giggle & goat."  So, when I was working on the page in her journal I was looking for some words for that chicken and came across those words and decided to cut it and make it say "giggle & goat."  I have not given her the journal back yet but I bet she will love it.

I just finished another spread in another swappers journal.  This one came out like this:

I love how vibrant the green of that girl's shirt it!  I knew I had to cut her our and use her.  I think this one is simple and has a great message!

Its different from what I normally do because this was all collage and no paint!  But I like how it came out.  Simple but not boring!
