Today we start a new round of art journal swapping. I am using an old atlas that I found at a thrift store in Texas. Here is the cover:

You can see, by comparing my hand, that its HUGE! I can't wait to see what people create inside of it!!
This is going to be so much fun!! The one I have is a children's book. I've gessoed it all, but some was done in the Basics gesso, that I find so gritty. Guess those pages will get paint. I also discovered that grainy gesso does not hold stickers!! Bummer! Have a great holiday weekend!
